Bob Miller

Bob brings over 20 years of experience in education, with a focus on helping schools design meaningful ways to measure their impact. Specialising in areas that are often challenging to quantify—such as student engagement, learner agency, and wellbeing—Bob works collaboratively with schools to develop bespoke analytical tools and frameworks that provide actionable insights.

Drawing on his extensive leadership experience as an Associate Principal and across-school Kāhui Ako leader, Bob has a deep understanding of the challenges schools face in tracking progress and evaluating impact. He supports schools to identify strengths and areas for improvement by analysing data in ways that align with their unique values and goals. Bob emphasises practical solutions, enabling schools to integrate ongoing measurement practices that are both sustainable and effective.

Bob’s expertise includes

  • Design and development of data tracking tools such as agency, wellbeing, achievement and progressions
  • Designing effective and purposeful quantitative and qualitative surveys, helping schools truly understand the perspectives of their staff, students and community.
  • Coaching teams and leadership in data fluency, helping to identify the pockets of promise within an organisation.

Bob is passionate about creating tools and processes that help schools measure what matters most and tell their story of impact with clarity and confidence.  He believes in creating the conditions that help schools identify their own strengths and to take action in order to grow their own impact.
